Terms of Service

The Site is a public directory that indexes third-party open-source projects (each, a “Listed Skill”). Listed Skills are markdown-based configuration files created by unrelated third parties and published to GitHub. We do not host executable code. The Site displays listing metadata—such as repository name, owner, description, license type, GitHub stars, and a link to the source repository—to help visitors discover relevant projects.

Profound curates which projects appear on the Site, but this in no way constitutes a certification, endorsement, audit, guarantee, warranty, or promise that any Listed Skill is safe, secure, functional, maintained, license-compliant, non-infringing, or fit for any purpose.

Listed Skills remain the property of their respective authors or rights holders. Profound does not own, host, maintain, support, relicense, or transfer rights in any Listed Skill by indexing or linking to it. Linking to a repository does not imply sponsorship or affiliation with its author.

Any use of a Listed Skill is governed by the applicable repository license and any other third-party terms provided by the author. You are responsible for reviewing the linked repository, skill file, license, and any third-party terms before using a Listed Skill.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this agreement or any agreement you may have with Profound, you assume all risk associated with your use of any Listed Skill discovered through the Site. Profound is not responsible for the content, accuracy, safety, legality, or availability of any third-party repository or skill file. You should independently evaluate every Listed Skill before installing, running, or relying on it in any environment.

If you are also a Profound customer, your use of Profound’s products and services continues to be governed by your Master Services Agreement or other applicable agreement with Profound (your “MSA”). The MSA does not apply to any Listed Skill, the repository from which it is obtained, or any other third-party materials.

Each Listed Skill and its source repository are third-party materials, not Profound products or services. A Listed Skill is not subject to any Profound MSA, support terms, service levels, security commitments, data processing terms, intellectual property indemnities, warranties, or other commitments applicable to Profound’s customers. Any decision to access, install, configure, connect, or use a Listed Skill with or alongside any Profound product or service is made independently by you and at your sole risk and responsibility. Your MSA governs only the Profound products and services covered by it; it does not govern, extend to, or create any obligations with respect to the Listed Skill or its source repository, which remain subject to the applicable repository license and other third-party terms.

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AVAILABILITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PROFOUND AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY LISTED SKILL, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.

Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, technical, security, or other professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals before making decisions based on information found through the Site.

Profound may add, remove, update, hide, or correct listings at any time and in its sole discretion, without notice or liability. If you are a repository owner or rights holder and wish to request correction or removal of a listing, please contact us at marketing@profound.com. We do not require registration and do not collect personal information beyond standard site analytics. We may revise these Terms as the Site evolves. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
